How we can help.

Thank you all for helping support the victims of this current disaster affecting so many thousands of Japanese and foreigners. I cannot describe how heartbreaking it is to me. Japan is my home now, too. Through private donations and money raised by soup sales, you have helped us raise more than 50,000 yen. It is not a lot considering how much is needed, but maybe it helped feed some people, and get some blankets and water to others. If we all do a little, a little becomes a lot. We will keep doing what we can to help, and thank all of you helping too. SOMETHING NEW!

Well, it is cold out, ne? So we decided to add a secret item to the menu (Hopefully daily). We will have homemade healthy soup available, but limited. We had Chicken soup yesterday, Tomato Oregano today, and Sunday will be Beef Barley! Made with fresh stock and healthy whole grain barley, it will be sure to warm you up and fill you up with a burger and fries!

Remember to ask my wonderful wife Yuriko-san about the secret menu. We will keep trying to expand our menu and options as we grow, so stop by for a bowl of homemade soup like Mom used to make. 『2010年営業無事終了♪』

大晦日のランチで無事年内の営業を終え
その後店内の大掃除をして
先ほど帰宅しました♪

今年はシェフジェフと私にとって
とても大きな一年でした

バーガーショップをオープンすると決めてから
店舗探しに駆け回り
『THE BURGER PIT』という名前を考え
自分達でやった猛暑の中の改装工事
メニューの試作、試作、試作
今年は数え切れないほどのチャレンジの連続でした！

そのチャレンジの最中は
ショップを通してこんなにも多くの方に出会うことができ
足しげく通ってくださる超常連さんが付いてくださり
またこんなにもたくさんの「おいしい！！」を聞けるなんて
まるで夢のようで想像できませんでした

オープンして3ヶ月がたった今
夢が現実としてここにあります
THE BURGER PITを私達と一緒に育ててくださっている皆様
本当に本当に心より感謝しております

2011年もシェフジェフは

お詫び EARLY CLOSED SUNDAY PM

To all our customers. So sorry but we had to close early Sunday Night just after opening, due to an
unexpected illness. After being tested and treated at the hospital, everything is OK now. So sorry for any inconvenience caused. I did enjoy my first ambulance ride in Japan! Hello Burger Pit Customers. Thank you all for your patronage. Whether you have visited us many times or only once, we appreciate your business. After almost two months open, we are setting new hours to allow us to better prepare to take care of all of you and to do proper maintenance and cleaning, and also to give us a chance to relax. Our new hours will begin on Monday, November 15th.

A&W ROOTBEER FLOAT!

We now have Rootbeer floats available! A taste from my childhood that brings back little league memories. After Sunday practice, the Coach always took us little leaguers to A&W for Rootbeer floats. We look forward to giving you something you haven't had for a long time, or maybe for the first time!

A DAY OFF! Otsukare sama desu!

Hello from THE BURGER PIT. After being at the shop every day for over two months, we finally had a day off. We did a little bit of things for the restaurant, and went for a nice dinner at a Yakiniku restaurant (Korean Barbeque). So nice to have someone else cook the food....kind of, guess we did most of the cooking there, too. We now have ICE CREAM ! And it comes with my homemade chocolate sauce using my Grandma Cooper's recipe ( with a little bit of changes, like adding Maple Syrup ) We will keep trying to improve our food, service and restaurant to keep everyone happy. OH YEAH! The way a burger should be. I am so happy to be cooking again, with fresh fresh ingredients of the best quality. We ate this burger, and we are sure you will love the change to Kobe Beef Burgers! You, our customers, are why we are here, so we will do our best to give you the best. Not fast food, but good food. Is it worth waitng a few minutes? We think so.

BIG NEWS !

After being open a few weeks, Yuriko and I had a Team Meeting! We wanted to make our burgers even better, so we are going to use Kobe Beef for our burgers. Juicy! Tasty! Soooo Yummy. We hope

So many interesting things!

Hello to all our customers. We are so happy to see new faces and familiar faces.
We have met many people from so many different ages and places. Some people
take many pictures for different blogs. Today we had a guy who had his 151'st burger
from many Hyogo Burger Shops. He loves Burgers, and happily, he liked ours too.
He also had his 152nd, 153rd and took out his 154th burger, all from our shop!
He tried four different burgers and seemed to really enjoy them. (The fourth was to go)Where did he put them?
Our buns are big, and Patties are 100 grams each!
Are they really as yummy as he said? You will have to find out for yourself!

Closed on Tuesdays

Foreigner day

Today was a nice surprise as we had some foreign guests stop by. One from Holland and some from the US Since my Japanese is not that good yet, it was nice to talk in English to some of the customers. (Luckily, some of our Japanese customers do speak English well) I hope in time that we become a place where people from all over can come together to just eat drink and relax, and enjoy each others company. GRAND OPENING SEP 15TH

Finally we can say GRAND OPENING SEPTEMBER 15TH!
We will do our best to make THE BURGER PIT a place
that all will enjoy, and feel at home, no matter where
you are from. We will open at 11:00 AM daily until
9:00 PM, and will set schedule later to keep all

The Canadian Beer is here!!!

After searching and waiting, our Canadian Beer has finally arrived! We have a second type coming soon. Can't be Canadian without Canadian Beer, eh?

New Floor is done (kind of) and walls are being stained

Had to rebuild closet for new floor, so
we put the chest freezer inside!
